Final Clarifiers
Here clumps of bacteria suspended in wastewater from the oxidation ditches have a chance to settle out. These settled solids are pumped away to the sludge handling units of the plant. The clear effluent from the clarifiers then flows by gravity to the chlorine contact tank.
